[ Working ] Stop and Remove NMBgMonitor.exe – Nero BackItUp Service From Your Computer

Nero BackItUp Service [ NMBgMonitor.exe ] is another useless service for many nero users, which gets installed automatically in the background when users just click next button at the time of installation without reading the message on the installation screen and without customising the nero software packages at the time of installation.

What is NMBgMonitor.exe or Nero BackItUp Service ?

Nero BackItUp Service is responsible to control all jobs created using Nero BackItUp. These jobs can create backups of selected files/folders/partitions or complete hard disk to hard disk, network drive, CD/DVD or FTP.

If you don’t use this feature of nero you should better remove it and stop the associated service for this feature, follow the procedure below to stop NMBgMonitor.exe on your computer and prevent it from running automatically next time.

1. Open Start Menu >> Run and type services.msc and press ok

2. Locate the service named NBService

3. Double click to edit it, click the stop button to stop the service first

4. After stopping the service, click the drop down under startup type and select Disabled – to stop this service from running in background in future.
