Let’s look at it how it works. Once you have downloaded it, you will see various files and folders but the files which are useful to you are Clock and Weather.
Double click on clock widget to start it and when you start it for first time it will show time set in your pc and will ask you to “Setup your location in settings”
To setup location just right click on it and click on Options
Click on Weather tab then enter your Location and then click on OK.
Once you have setup everything, widget will look something like this.
Now next is click on weather widget. It will similarly ask for setting up of location. Like previously done right click on widget, click on Weather tab then enter your Location and then click on OK.
Widget looks like this.
Apart from this HTC Home offer some good animations for weather under clock widget, you can see clouds floating, rain drops sliding down the screen and lightning striking. You can activate it by selecting “show weather animation” in weather tab.
In cloud animation you will see clouds floating on screen while if it’s raining you will see rain drops falling. You can see examples below.
You can run multiple widgets simultaneously according to your need. Like you can set up multiple time zones or may be if you are an IPL fan then you can have widget for each city where IPL match is to be played to check out weather conditions for that city.
