Now a days all of us have our own computers or laptops and every now and then we install a new software application or a tool on them. In such a case we should have some information about the minimum requirements, Operating system ,Graphics and hardware used in the system. I have a System Information Tool for you named CPU-Z that will give you all the System Information that you will require while installing the software.
The tool is very useful in providing the important information about the system at one location. Which is not possible to know otherwise and therefore sometimes in case of a problem which can’t be solved due to the lack of information we have to get professional help.
This is the first screen which will open up when you will run the software for the first time after downloading and installing it. The tool has 7 tabs to gives you the information about all the hardware parts that are installed in your system. The various tabs in the software are CPU, Caches, Mainboard, Memory, SPD, Graphics and About. The first tab i.e. CPU will give you the information about the Processor, Clock speed and Cache. There is also a Validate button present in all the tabs which will help you to validate the information given by the tool.
The second tab will give you the information about the Caches present in the CPU. For the CPU that is installed in my computer the caches present in the system are L1 D-Cache, L1 I-Cache and L2 Cache. For some superior quality processors L3 Cache is also present in the system.
The above window will give you the information about Mainboard. The Mainboard tab will give you the information about the Motherboard, BIOS and Graphic Interface.
The Memory tab will give you the information about the RAM installed in your system. The tab will also give you the information regarding the Type of RAM, Channels, Size and DC Mode.
The fifth tab is the SPD tab will give you the information regarding the Serial Ports in the Computer. It will also give you the information about the Module Size, Max Bandwidth, Manufacturer, Part Number and Serial Number.
The Graphics tab will give you the information regarding the graphics of your computer whether you have integrated graphics or you have a dedicated graphic card installed on your system. The tab will also give you the information regarding the GPU(Graphic Processor Unit) installed on your system. The various aspects about the GPU that will be covered in this tab are its general information, clock speed and its memory.
