Many a times, when we view images on any site, the preview of images does not show us the actual size of the image until we open it in another window. It sometimes becomes irritating when we need to know the actual size of image before using it. This need of ours, is understood by Google chrome which launched Photo Zoom which let us see the full size of images with no mouse clicks.
Google chrome has provided a list of extensions making our work more comfortable like Webpage Screenshots, Tab Menu and many more. One such extension is Photo Zoom which shows full size of images when we move the cursor over it.
You just need Google chrome for its installation. When you will install it, it will ask you the access to your data on all websites and your browsing history. You just have to select ‘Install’.
Its installation will take just a few minutes. After that, it will appear as an icon in the toolbar.
With this extension, you can have the advantage of viewing your images in full size on any site.
You can explore its options by going in the ‘extensions’ and clicking ‘options’ which will open a ‘Hover Zoom Options’ tab. It provides certain ‘General’ options which are easy to understand. You can also disable this extension for particular sites by using ‘Sites’ tab and adding them in the provided space.
You can also activate hot keys. For example, if you want to see the full-size image or if you want to view the image using all available space only when you press selected key. (e.g.- i have chosen ‘Ctrl’ for the previous one).
It also provides you the option of enabling this extension even in the incognito window. For this, go to the settings and then ‘extensions’.
Here you just have to tick on the option of ‘Allow this extension to run in incognito’. After that even in the incognito window, you can see the full size images. When you will enable this option, there will appear a warning which will inform you that this extension can access your browsing history of incognito window. So, its better not to activate this extension in incognito.
So, don’t waste time and install this extension now so that next time when you view images, you don’t have to double-click on the image for viewing it in full-size. Rather you just have to place your mouse on that image and can see it in full-size.
