Many a times it would have happened that you wanted to share your screen with your friends. If a tool is not getting installed on your system and you want that you friend should help then it can be very much easy if he can share your screen while sitting at home and then help you with the solution. Today we will be reviewing a tool known as ThinVNC, which will help you to do the same as mentioned above.
This tool will help you to share your screen with all your friends, but the only disadvantage is that you cannot define the amount of accessibility which will be offered to your friends once they are connected to our system. Though you might be using many tools like Skype and many others but with this tool you will not have to install any plug-in for this tool as the user will be easily able to share the screen with the help of this small tool.
You can see the snapshot of the tool as shown above. As soon as you launch this tool it will automatically start the server. Now if you want anyone to join it then you can make it public by not assigning any password to the server but you can assign the password by clicking on the option named as Digest in the application window. Then stop the server and assign a new password and user-id other than the default one. After changing the password you can again start the server.
After creating a successful server just go the context menu of this tool by right click on the icon present on the tray and then choose the option of Start presentation, now this will start the presentation and a new application window can be seen near the tray. You will be able to see the screen which is being shown to the others. The snapshot of the same has been shown below.
The size of this tool is around 3 Mb and it will take no time to get installed as it can be seen from its size, but still it is not portable. I hope that this freeware will be very much helpful for you. This tool is compatible with all the versions of Windows as it has been checked with Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate edition.
