Use Windows Mail In Windows Vista for your gmail or any pop3 account.

Yes there is no need to download any mail client in case of windows vista as you can do the same using windows mail comes by default with a windows vista.
So, no thunderbird required in this case if you have windows vista installed.I have configured my gmail account in windows mail. As per the interface quite a sleek and fast interface with looks similar to thunderbird.
Don’t forget to configure the setting of your account in order to start receiving mails i have listed all the steps required to configure a gmail account for the rest of other pop3 or imap 4 account i suggest google it.
1. Entering the email id.
2.Specifying the server address.
3. Specifying the gmail account settings.
