After this feature made available, you can upload to Google Docs any file up to 250 MB. You’ll have 1 GB of free storage for files which you don’t convert into Google Docs formats (i.e. Google documents, spreadsheets, and presentations). and when you need more space, you can buy additional storage for $0.25 per GB per year which is quite cheap if you compare with other uploading services.
A Note From Google Docs Team: More importantly, instead of carrying a USB drive, you can now use Google Docs as a more convenient option for accessing your files on different computers.
