Stop Search Suggestions While Typing In Google Search Query Box

Google search is one such powerful tool for anyone to find anything or any kind of information on internet. One of the thing you might have noticed while doing google search for a keyword, when you type in your keywords on the google search query box, you see some search suggestions as shown in the image.

This feature is quite useful while doing search but for some people it is rather more annoying. Today we will tell you how to stop these search suggestions from appearing while typing the search keyword in the query box.

Follow the procedure below to know how it is done.

1. Go to google.com 

2. Now on the top right corner of the page you will see the option – Search Settings as shown in the image below, click Search settings link.

3. Under search settings, scroll down to locate the section which says query suggestions and change the setting to Do not provide query suggestions in the search box as shown in the image below.

This settings will not work if you have disabled browser cookies in your browser.

Note: If you want to make this change permanent, then sign in with a google account and set this setting of not to show the search suggestions.
