Noise is a small free utility for windows which can send fake keystrokes so as to stop your computer from entering the sleep mode or to stop the screen saver you had set to get running. It creates a window with an edit box, hides it, and posts a random key to it every 10 seconds.

You can use the system tray icon of the application menu to show it or kill it, this program is very simple and easy to use.
