Stop Applications From Using Your Twitter Account For Posting Automated Tweets

Recently, I opted for a free web service called paper.li which organizes links shared on Twitter into an easy to read newspaper-style format. But some what wrong thing with this service which I found that once you authenticate or connect it with your twitter account, It will start posting a daily tweet from your account which will be a daily news paper around the people you follow and you.

Some of my followers did not liked this service like me with time, so I decided to revoke access from this application using my twitter account. So, if you have a similar issue with some other web service using your twitter account, you can follow the procedure below to stop that.

1. Go to twitter.com and login to your account

2. Click Settings link at top right corner of the page as shown in the image below.

3. Now click the Connections label under Settings as highlighted in the image below

Under connections you will see all those web services and applications, now look for the application or web service and click revoke access link under its name to stop it from using your twitter account. For Example as shown in the snapshot below
