I have been using google since its early days when it was launched, one of the change which I did not liked in upcoming google chrome versions that previously it was allowed to quickly & easily show or hide the bookmarks bar below the address bar in google chrome toolbar, but now that hotkey has been diluted due to some reason, and then only way to hide or show the toolbar is no buried and hidden under google chrome options.
Previously the hotkey was Ctrl+b but it does not work any more, now in case you want to show or hide the bookmarks bar you will need to configure the same under google chrome options. Follow the procedure below to show or hide bookmarks bar in google chrome, now if you want to show or hide it, just press Ctrl+Shift+B this hotkey works across all the latest versions of google chrome released till now.
Just in case if you want to show the bookmarks bar always when ever you start your browser, you can configure the same under google chrome options, follow the procedure below.
1. Go to google chrome options as shown in the image below.
2. Under options you will see this check box which says Always show the bookmarks bar, just check it if you want to show the bookmarks bar always when you start google chrome browser.
