Shorten URL With Goo.gl URL Shortener In Google Chrome and Other Browsers Without Google Toolbar

We had previously post about what is Goo.gl and its launch by google, it is new URL shortening service from Google but it can be used only with google products like google toolbar and feedburner, that means you cannot use it like other URL Shortening services like bit.ly or tinyURL etc.

But Amit at [ Digital Inspiration] found a google chrome extension which allows you to create Goo.gl short URLs for the web page you are currently viewing inside Chrome without requiring the google toolbar.

If you are not using google chrome browser and using some other internet browser like Firefox, Internet Explorer etc then you can use this free online URL shortener which uses goo.gl. [ as shown in the example snapshot below ]
