Remove Youtube Logo In Embedded Youtube Video Frame

It happens with most of us when you embed a youtube video on your blog post or website, you might see the small logon on the bottom right corner of the youtube player a shown in the image below, as you can see in the solmate youtube video review embedded below.

Personally I don’t like this small youtube watermark which is displayed on the youtube video frame, youtube team has finally rolled some new features and parameters with which you just need to add some parameter in your youtube video embed code while adding the code to your website or blog, and it will make the youtube logo disappear as shown in video frame of the same video embedded below without the youtube logo.

Youtube team have now added a simple option to do it. At the end of the video URL in your embed code, just add the code ?modestbranding=1 and the player will show without the YouTube logo in the control bar.

Please Note: The small “YouTube” text label will still show up in the upper-right corner of a paused video when you hover over the player.

In order to embed a youtube video without the youtube logo shown on the youtube video frame, add the ?modestbranding=1  to the embed code as per the youtube version of embed code you have from the following two types of embed codes.

For the IFRAME version of youtube embed code:

<iframe height="480" src="" frameborder="0" width="600" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe>

For the old OBJECT version of youtube embed code:

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value=><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>
