Remove or Revoke Access From Connected Web Service In Windows Live Or Live Messenger

Windows Live network is a great place to connect and share your activities around different web services across the web, you can connect services like facebook, stumbleupon, flickr and Linkedin etc to your windows live network.

This way when you do any activity on the connected web services, it spread across your windows live network stream and through live messenger also. Just in case if you want to remove access or disconnect any web services with windows live, follow the procedure below.

1. Go to Live.com and sign in with your live ID

2. Now Under Messenger Social section on your live network timeline, select manage services as shown in the image below.

You can do the same thing by selecting the manage services in live messenger with the options shown in the bottom right corner of live messenger window as shown in the image below.

3. Once you click the Manage Services, you will be redirected to a new page in your default internet browser which shows the existing services connected services – you can now click remove link for those services which you would like to disconnect from your account as shown in the image below.

Once you click remove, it will again ask you to confirm your action. Click remove to confirm your action.

This is how you can disconnect any service connected to your live account and stop that service from posting any updates of your activity on that web service.

    I tried everything and still can’t remove Facebook from connected services. I click Remove but it takes me back to the profile page. What else can I do?
