Recover, Restore or Reopen Closed Tabs In Google Chrome

June 3, 20101 Comment

There are times when you want to re open the recently closed tabs in google chrome, google chrome however has a feature which allows you to re open the last closed tab just by right clicking in the opened tabs and then select Reopen Closed Tab as shown in the image below.

But doing this to recover all the recently closed tab could be a real irritation, There is a google chrome extension called Trash Can which lets you do this task of reopening the tabs quite easily.

This extension you can easily reopen previously closed tabs. There is no limit on how many tabs can be remembered. It is kind of a mix of the "recently closed" bar on the New Tab page and the History page.

It currently supports only the very basic functionality. It has not been developed with for example multiple windows in mind. It might work as expected when using multiple windows.

Some New Features Coming Soon

* Save tabs between sessions.
* Better support for multiple windows, if necessary.
* Incognito mode support.
* Optional limit on the number of tabs to remember.
