Open, Read PDF Files On Android Phones [ Nexus One, HTC Hero etc ]

There are times when you would want to read pdf documents on your android phones, there are some free pdf reader out there in android market but most of them are not good as they either crash some times or does not provide better options to read a pdf on android phone.

Adobe has just released their pdf reader application for android phones, It offers multi-touch gestures, like pinch-and-zoom, as well as double-tap-zoom, flick-scrolling and panning. We’ve also added a "reflow" mode, which will take text-heavy documents with wide margins, and automatically wrap the content for easy viewing on smaller screens.


Following are some requirements for installing to run adobe reader app

  • Android v 2.1 and above
  • 550 MHz processor
  • 256 MB of RAM
  • 4.3 MB of available disk space

Currently Supported Devices - Motorola Droid, Motorola Milestone & Google Nexus One (While we have not yet tested against other Android devices, we expect they may also run the application just fine.)

    Thanks for the great article, I’m very excited. I have had my phone for simply over a month now and am in reality playing all the free apps from the android market, with the ability to have the web and navigation at my fingertips the entire time. The one less than concept function is the image/video text messages, as they aren’t downloading properly.
