Office Live Web – Restore, Revert To Old Document Version With Version History

Office Live Web is a great place which gives you the feel of the desktop version of office 2010, and on the other hand make editing more simple and easy to share a document among your online contacts.

Today, we will tell you how to revert to the older version of a document, presentation or spreadsheet with office live web as it maintains a version history as per date and changes you made.

1. Firstly in order to view the document you had created with office live web, go to office.live.com and sing in with your hotmail Id

2. Once you are logged in, at the center top you will see recent document you created or edited with office live web

3. Now when you hover your mouse over the any of the file, you will the options to edit in a browser, share and more – click drop down menu arrow on more as shown in the image below and click the version history

4. Now it will take you to a new page, where you can see the previous version of the document, select the older version on the left and click restore to revert to older version of the document as shown in the image below.
