This tool is developed by Microsoft and it is a part of the Window Live range on products. This powerful tool is created to make blogging more intuitive, easy and fun for users. Our whole editing team is using this tool only to compose blog and from my personal experience I can tell you that it is really an innovative tool integrated with number of features using which I always have fun while writing. But the only problem is that you can only publish blog directly but can’t save it on your system for the future reference. I know most of you must have tried lots of options to save their blog but unfortunately there is no inbuilt option.
So today we are going to tell you about a tool named LLSaver using which you can save all your blogs to your system. This tool automatically scans for all the blogs posted earlier using Windows Live Writer and save them directly to the Documents folder. It is a very light weight application developed by BYunSoft and best part is that it is absolutely free to use.
So this is the main window of this nifty utility. At the top of the main window, you are required to enter the user name. Enter in this box the User Name of your blog site or Windows live space. Then from the Blogs, you can click on checkbox to customize your search i.e put a check on all those months of this you want to get all the published blogs.
Once you are done with all the settings, simply click on Get and then this tool will start processing and you can even see the processing bar at the bottom. For the very first time, it will take time to fetch all your published blogs, depending upon the number of blogs. Once it finish processing, simply click on save and then by default this tool will save all your blogs in the Documents folder with name “My Web Post”.
The size of LLSaver is just 592 Kb and as usual it will create a desktop shortcut which can be used to access this freeware. This tool is compatible with all the versio0ns of Windows and has been tested successfully on Windows 7 Ultimate-32 bit edition.
