does not work, air installs fine but clicking any air link in chrome or firefox does not do anything

Download & Installed AdobeAIRInstaller.bin with no problems. Downloaded TweetDeck_0_34.3.air but nothing happens when trying to install it on Jaunty 9.04. What am I missing?
