		<description>Just a thought. Is there a possibility that software looks for a  specific mac_address of a stolen computer  through the internet and locate its position. You can format the harddisk, but you can not change your unique mac_adress</description>

		<description>Pavan, TechnoSamrat and abhishek: you can always prevent the re-formatting of your drive by setting a system passwd in the bios. 
Press the del key or f12 or whatever is displayed on screen while your pc is booting to enter those settings.</description>
