How to delete files which are locked by windows program with remove on reboot

Remove on reboot is a small freeware program, which lets you delete files which you can’t delete as they are in use by some other program all the time.

It’s a shell extension which allows you to delete files automatically after the next reboot.

There is  similar utility called Unlocker which lets you release the windows handles over a particular file which you want to delete, Remove on reboot comes to rescue even when unlocker does not help you delete a file as it will delete the file on next windows reboot.

How to delete a used or locked file in windows

Just right click on the locked file and select RemoveOnReboot in the Send To menu ( as shown in the image below )
