Google search box is going to get bigger, this is a very nice and simple change which does not affect anything on your search results but a bigger search box is makes it more easy to type and see what are you typing specially when you are typing long text queries.

The new larger search box on the google home page uses larger text which makes the query you are searching more readable and over all size of the buttons Google Search and I’m Feeling Lucky text font is also increased. This one of a small but a nice change at he google home page, you can see the changes to google home page in the last 11 years.
