In our daily busy life, all of us have to do a dozens of work in a day – some important which can not be left undone and some can be left for next day. Also, having so many things in hand, sometimes we may forget about the important work and do the unimportant one which leads to a big loss. So, to avoid this mistake, most of us like to make notes, set reminders or a check list or others.
For those who has to work all day sitting in front of the computer, we have earlier reviewed a desktop tool, Sticker which is very useful for remembering important things.
Considering this problem, Google has come up with an extension called Google Calendar Checker which will allow you to remember about your important work while working on internet.
Google Calendar Checker is a smart extension especially designed to quickly see the time until your next meeting. When you will install this extension, it will ask you the access to the data on Google.com and your browsing history. You just have to select ‘Install’.
It will only create problem when run in incognito window because Google chrome will not be able to prevent this extension to save the browsing history in incognito window. So, take care of it.
It will be installed in just a few seconds and will appear with this icon in the toolbar menu with a question mark which represent there is no reminder set.
And, will show a new window where it will ask you to tell a little more about you if you have already sign-up on Gmail. Also, you can set the different Gmail account for this extension by going in the option’ ‘click here’.
After you will click ‘continue’, it will take you to the Google calendar where you can set the important work reminders just like i did. And, its done.
The moment your reminders are set, you can see the icon will change and will show a particular time at its bottom which will be the time of your next meeting or important work which you have set.
This extension does not work with multiple calendars which is a bit inconvenient otherwise, it is a nice one which has make it possible to have Gmail open and schedule events at the same time and in the same window.
