Ghostery is another useful firefox addon which lets you reveal hidden web bugs, hidden scripts, stats code, java scripts and other hidden scripts running on any web page or web site you visit.

In simple words this firefox extension lets you see the invisible web, which is all those hidden scripts running on different sites to track your behaviour and are used by advertisers, it lets you see all the code which is working behind a widget embedded in the site.
