[ Fixed ] Solve Error 404 In WordPress Blog Single Post and Pages

Yesterday, we suddenly faced the a strange issue with our blogs in our Technix Media Websites Network, for one of our wordpress blog all the single post or articles and pages started giving error 404 when we tried to access them. It was looking like a wordpress issue so we logged in to the cpanel of the site to backup up the database.

When opened phpmyadmin interface through cpanel, the database instead of showing the data it was showing it under use, and then it indicated that the data base for our website has been crashed and needs a repair.

Then after reading all this, once we repaired the mysql database of our site, everything was set back to normal all posts or articles and pages are now accessible, however after repairing the data base we need to fix the author names for some of the website pages which were showing no authors, so we recommend you to check for the author name for the existing pages if you are also facing this error.

Follow the procedure below to the fix the wordpress blog website db

1. Login to your website cpanel

2. Now scroll down and locate mysql databases

3. Now select database and then click repair DB button to repair the crashed database of your site.

4. Now it will lead you to a new page where it will repair each and every table of your database as shown in the image below.

Once the repair is complete, go back and check your wordpress blog again, things should be fixed now. We hope you like this wordpress blog fix, we hope it worked for you, if it does not then it looks like there is some other problem. In that case we would suggest you to restore the latest database backup of your website.
