There are many times when you need to fill out the same type of web forms which ask for the same type of information, and each time you will it you feel like lazy, Google Chrome team has launched a great new feature in google chrome browser called autofill.
Autofill, helps you fill in web forms automatically with information that you specify, such as your name, address, phone number, and the credit card number you use for shopping online. Autofill builds up and saves this information for you over time, so that you can fill in long web forms with just a few clicks without typing in the same information over again.
For your security, any personal information stored in Chrome is safely stored and kept private until a user chooses to share the information with a website. Additionally, your credit card information is never saved without first asking you explicitly.
Here is how you can enable or disable autofill in google chrome
1. Open google chrome browser and open options from the top right corner of the browser window as shown in the image below.
2. Click the tab Personal stuff on the options window, here you will find autofill option which by default will be automatically enabled – however you can disable it if you don’t want to use it as shown in the image below.
