Most of us have multiple E-Mail accounts and it becomes often annoying and time consuming to check each account for new mails on daily basis and hence we check one or two more active mail accounts daily and leave other accounts. So there may be possibility that you may miss something important because of reading mail after a quiet long period of time as it is delivered on one of your non active account.
So today we are going tell you about a small email notification tool named EmailTray. EmailTray is a tiny application that automatically monitors your multiple email account and shows you alert notifications on desktop only whenever you receive Email on any account. This tool shows notification on the priority basis and alerts whenever you get any high priority mail in any of your mail box.
When you run its installation file, this tool will take little time in gathering information needed to install this tool. After that it will automatically start the installation Wizard.
You are also required to put a tick mark on I am a new user if you are using this tool for the first time. Click on Next to proceed to next step.
It will then get installed in your computer and simply click on finish to complete the installation Wizard. As shown in the following window, this tool will show you an icon in the system tray and will run automatically in the background when you switch on your Windows.
when you run this tool for the first time after installation, it will take some time in analysing your Email preferences. So in this way it will automatically synchronize all your mail accounts in this tool.
Once it completes analysing, you can see the main window of this tool which looks like as follows.
So this is how this tool shows you the mail account. It automatically group your mails in Top Priority, Low Priority, No Priority and Span. The priority level is automatically set up by this tool depending upon the number of interaction with every user in your mail boxes. So the Top priority tab contains mails from those users whom you mail often and it is vice versa for No Priority.
When you close this window, then too this tool will keep on running on your background and will monitor your every email account and gives you real time notifications whenever you receive any high priority mail.
Since I have just synchronized my Email account with tool, so it is showing me 43 unread notifications. EmailTray is not to be confused with a spam filter, it does not delete any messages, nor does it detect any spam. However, it can optionally interact with the spam folder of your email provider and alert you if it finds a message from a High priority contact in your online spam folder.
You can even reply back to any mail in your inbox directly through this tool without opening the respective Email account on your Web browser. This tool supports Webmail (Google, Yahoo, Hotmail etc.), POP3 and IMAP systems and provides a smart setup wizard that makes it easy to set up your accounts. There is also options available for improving mail sorting i.e defining priority level and you can even open all the email in MS Outlook with just one click.
The size of EmailTray is 9.75 Mb and still it will not take much time to get installed and as usual it will create a desktop shortcut which can be used to access this freeware. This tool is compatible with all the versions of Windows and has been tested successfully on windows 7 ultimate-32 bit edition.
