Google has recently launched secure search on feature on google which allows you do a secret search which cannot be sniffed as all the information you search in google is encrypted. This new google secure search works on Secure Socket Layer, with a http secure protocol, you can by a web address starting with “https” or a browser lock icon, this technology is regularly used by online banking sites and e-commerce websites.
So How Does It Actually Work ?
When you search on https://www.google.com, an encrypted connection is created between your browser and Google. This secured channel helps protect your search terms and your search results pages from being intercepted by a third party on your network.
How To Do Secure Google Search In Any Browser
In order to do secure encrypted google search in any browser, you just need to type https://www.google.com in the location address bar and then press enter, you will see the google encrypted search with google SSL logo which confirms that you are using secure google search.
Note: if you type to search from address bar in google chrome or firefox you are not searching through secure google search in that case, but if you want to force to search via this method to search through google secure search only, below is way to do it.
