Handy Shortcuts is free to use utility which allows create some very useful desktop shortcuts, For Example: You can create desktop shortcuts to Lock your desktop, switch user accounts, shutdown windows, restart windows, log off windows, hibernate windows, show desktop shortcut, add and remove program desktop shortcut, device manager shortcut and windows security center desktop shortcut.

You can also create some more advanced shortcuts by clicking the advanced tab in the program interface as shown below, you can create desktop shortcuts to windows defender, windows dvd maker, Flip3D settings, Screen Saver State, Disable or Enable Windows 7 or Vista Firewall, Control Panel desktop shortcut for windows 7 or vista, desktop shortcut to safely remove hardware.
