Google has recently launched their new social networking service called google+ which is right now by invitation only and its running under field trial. If you want to know about field trail read the definition below.
An important note about Field Trial – Those who are using google+ are a part of a small group of people who are helping to test Google+. When they share something with people who are not yet able to use Google+, they will receive it via email but won’t be able to comment or engage with the content like other Google+ users. They’ll be able to join Google+ as we let more users in over time.
Now as those who have started using google+ are already saying it resembles much more like facebook interface, Google+ has some main feature including Circles which are groups like facebook, in facebook you have wall updates and here you have similar looking stream updates, and one thing which I noticed is better in google+1 is all updates and replies are real time so you don’t have to refresh the page to see a reply on your post.
Transform Google+ UI To Facebook
For Google Chrome – you just need to install a simple extension Facebook+ extension which will make google+ look like facebook as shown in the image below. You might need to refresh google+ or reopen it to see these changes. [ Thanks to Tothepc for finding this extension ]
For Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera
For these browsers if you want to see google+ look like facebook as shown in the image above, you will need to install it as user script, download the script as per your browser from this page as shown in the image below.
