There are times when you just connect an extended monitor with your display, so that you have more space and you can easily work with more windows with more display space with an extra monitor. When you connect an external monitor as an extended display it may not take native or best resolution at which it looks the best, but you can set the native resolution on the extended monitor to make it text look crisp and clear.
Here is how you can set the native or best display resolution of the extended display monitor connected to your machine.
Change Display Settings Of Extended Monitor
Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
Click the drop-down list next to Multiple displays, click Extend these displays, and then click OK.
Note: The Multiple displays option appears only when Windows detects more than one monitor connected to your PC.
