Change, Remove Google As Default Search Engine In Safari Browser On iPad or iPad 2

There are times when you may realize that the default search queries go through google search engine by default when you do a search using the spotlight search or using the search feature in safari browser on ipad. Just in case if you want to change the default search engine in safari browser in ipad and set some other search provider like yahoo or bing, you can do that as apple allows you to change is very simply and easily.

In order to change the default search engine in safari browser on your ipad or ipad 2 follow the procedure below.

1. Go to settings on your ipad by tapping the settings app on home screen, under settings, tap Safari as shown in the image below.

Under safari preferences, tap Search Engine section and then select some other search engine like yahoo or bing to act as a default search engine in safari for searches on ipad or ipad 2 as shown in the image below.
