1. Login into yahoo messenger 10 and click on tab Y! Updates
2. Now click on yahoo updates tab as shown in the image below
3. A new window will open up where you can select the services which you can for which you want to send yahoo updates to your friends and you can also select which of your friends you want to see updates they sent.
4. Set the options and click ok to exit
